Jost van Dyke – A 3 min. Driving Tour

Jost van Dyke is one of my most favorite islands in the Caribbean. Home of the Painkiller, Kenny Chesney’s original Blue Chair, Thursday BBQ at Ivan’s and Foxy’s Firewater Rum, this small island over achieves. Even the architect of the U.S. Capital, Dr. William Thornton, was born here.
Recently I spent two weeks on the island and I want to take you on a sped up driving tour of this jewel in the Caribbean.

Always enjoyable to hang with Vinnie for a few cold ones….
So very true.
Damn good video Carl. Best one yet. I really think I need to have my ass kicked for not visiting Jost yet.
Cheers!
Haha thanks Ryan. I really enjoyed getting covered in mud for that one shot. I can’t believe we didn’t kill a goat!
NICE!! I’ve always been to Jost by boat. Very cool seeing it by land.
Cheers Mike. Can’t wait to see you in Key West and hear all your Puerto Rico stories. I think I’ll spend a week there in January.
The biggest problem I see with this video is that you’re moving FAR too fast for JVD
I was just there again last month and I miss it already! Vinnie was off-island so we didn’t get to say hello. There’s always next time
And yeah, Ryan, you do need your ass kicked for not visiting Jost yet!
Kris. Nice dig on Ryan. Haha. The video was sped up 800%. We actually stopped a few times for drinks along the way. What took 3 minutes on video took most of the afternoon in real life. Thanks for watching!
Great video! Really enjoyed it! Heading back to Jost soon and watching this makes it even harder to wait! Thanks!
Thanks Pamela. Enjoy your next trip. Share some pics!
Will do Carl!
Cool Video. I have been to Jost several times but never driven on it. I always wondered what the road to Foxy’s Taboo would be like. I get there by boat also. Definitely a fun island.
Thanks for reading Jeff. The road is tough but much worse during the rain which is why the quality in the middle sux. I’ll be back in November. Join us.
I MISS THE BVI!!!! My next trip will be spent mostly on JVD. Every time I visit that island on a day trip I have to be practically dragged off. I realized on my last trip that I need to spend at least two weeks there. SOON COME!!!
Sandy I agree. I stayed for about 9 days last time. When you get into the JVD vibe it’s hard to break the trance!
