Black Absinthe – Hallucinating in Jost van Dyke
Categories: Bars & Restaurants
Corsairs on Great Harbour is the only place to enjoy this ride.
Outlawed by most of the Western World in 1915 for it’s addictive psychoactive properties, Absinthe is making a comeback in Europe. As a law abiding American, I had to got to Jost van Dyke in order to see what all the fuss was about. Gee, from Corsairs in Great Harbour, made me up some Black Absinthe at 170 proof to try. Soon after the shoot was over (at 9:30am) my wrists and ankles started to go numb. Truly a funny feeling. The effect wore off quickly but was fun while it lasted!
